Job description

Job title: Teleoperation QA Reviewer

Job type: Contractor

Location: Remote

Job summary: Review teleoperation sessions for production robotics datasets. You will arbitrate ambiguous trajectories, latency artifacts, and operator errors before data ships to frontier labs.

Key responsibilities

  1. Review recorded teleop sessions against program-specific quality rubrics.
  2. Identify latency, overshoot, slip, and collision-near-miss patterns in operator trajectories.
  3. Score sessions for usability, safety, and training suitability.
  4. Document systematic failure modes and recommend guideline clarifications.
  5. Provide expert notes that downstream ML teams can action without re-watching full sessions.

Required skills and qualifications

  1. Practical teleoperation or remote robotics control experience.
  2. Ability to evaluate 6-DOF trajectories and end-effector intent from video and logs.
  3. Detail-oriented QA mindset with consistent scoring across long review shifts.
  4. Clear written feedback in English for global engineering teams.

Preferred qualifications

  1. Experience reviewing human demonstration data for imitation learning.
  2. Familiarity with haptic or VR teleop interfaces.
