Job description
Job title: Video Tracking Validator
Job type: Contractor
Location: Remote
Job summary: Validate object tracking labels on real-world video for AV, retail, and industrial programs. You ensure identity consistency and box quality frame-to-frame.
Key responsibilities
- Review tracking IDs across cuts, occlusions, and re-entry events.
- Validate bounding box tightness, class stability, and attribute consistency over time.
- Identify tracker failure patterns (ID switch, drift, missed re-acquire).
- Produce structured reject/accept decisions with timestamp-level notes.
- Escalate guideline gaps that cause recurring annotator confusion.
Required skills and qualifications
- Proven video annotation or tracking QA experience.
- Sharp eye for temporal consistency and small-object tracking edge cases.
- Comfort reviewing high-volume queues with sustained accuracy.
- Professional written communication for distributed labeling teams.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with MOT benchmarks, sports analytics, or autonomous vehicle perception QA.
