Job description

Job title: Video Tracking Validator

Job type: Contractor

Location: Remote

Job summary: Validate object tracking labels on real-world video for AV, retail, and industrial programs. You ensure identity consistency and box quality frame-to-frame.

Key responsibilities

  1. Review tracking IDs across cuts, occlusions, and re-entry events.
  2. Validate bounding box tightness, class stability, and attribute consistency over time.
  3. Identify tracker failure patterns (ID switch, drift, missed re-acquire).
  4. Produce structured reject/accept decisions with timestamp-level notes.
  5. Escalate guideline gaps that cause recurring annotator confusion.

Required skills and qualifications

  1. Proven video annotation or tracking QA experience.
  2. Sharp eye for temporal consistency and small-object tracking edge cases.
  3. Comfort reviewing high-volume queues with sustained accuracy.
  4. Professional written communication for distributed labeling teams.

Preferred qualifications

  1. Experience with MOT benchmarks, sports analytics, or autonomous vehicle perception QA.
