Incentive structure
How contributors and experts are paid — cash, token, and Passport.
Pay is for approved work. Harbor does not publish one hourly rate. Each invitation states the basis: per task, per hour, or milestone.
Contributors
Pay is per approved mission, shown in the invitation. In Harbor Passport you can choose cash or token.
- Token settlement: about 30 days after customer approval
- Cash settlement: about 90 days after customer approval
These windows are targets, not guarantees. They follow the enterprise review cycle.
Passport multipliers
Trust levels (New → Verified → Trusted → Elite → Expert) can raise the effective rate on approved work, from 1.0× up to 1.3×. Referral tiers (Bronze / Silver / Gold) can add up to +12% at Gold (25+ referrals). Existing Harbor profiles do not qualify as new referrals.
Experts
Expert Network contributors are independent contractors. Rates reflect rubric difficulty, domain scarcity, turnaround, and the client budget. Evaluation and red-team work typically pays above commodity labeling. Incomplete tax or banking setup blocks payout.
What this is not
Holdings of $HARBOR are not a promised return. Weekly uploads are eligibility for paid missions when a programme is live — not a token faucet. See Token overview.
